Built on the vision of being the hospital of choice for specialists, staff and patients, Hillcrest Private Hospital quickly established itself as a sought after quality and award-winning private facility. Based in the KwaZulu province of South Africa, the 200 bed facility has additional doctor suites, an oncology centre and a rehabilitation facility. The hospital’s ethos has always been to surround itself with people who perform at the leading edge of their fields.

Hillcrest Private Hospital contracted Healthshare in three phases to manage the integrated healthcare facility planning and commissioning, as well as the operational management of the healthcare facility.

Phase 1:October 2010 – June 2011
Objective:Commission and manage the partially built hospital.

Function:
  • Healthshare provided visiting consultants to ensure the the quality service remained sustainable and that there was adequate skills transfer. At the end of this contract Healthshare successfully handed over the facility to the management of Hillcrest Private Hospital
Outcome:
